VFBV is proud to be a supporting partner to this year's AFAC conference powered by INTERSCHUTZ, Australasia’s premier emergency management and first responders conference and exhibition.
AFAC26 will take place at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre from 18 to 21 August 2026.

The AFAC26 Exhibition is free to attend and open from 18 to 20 August. Spanning over 16,500 square metres, it is the largest showcase of emergency management products, services, and solutions in Australasia. Hundreds of national and international brands, manufacturers, and suppliers will be on the floor presenting the latest equipment and technology across capability fleet, capability equipment, capability PPE, fire safety, and more, giving you the chance to see it up close, compare options side by side, and speak directly with the people behind the products.
What's on at AFAC26:
- Live Demonstrations on Wednesday 19 and Thursday 20 August, with the latest techniques and technology shown in action on the exhibition floor
- Solutions Theatre delivering free, practical presentations from industry professionals across all three days
- Resources Rescue Theatre offering expert-led sessions tailored to those working in high-risk environments, with CPD points available for attendance, developed in partnership with the Emergency Management Community of Practice
- AIDR Knowledge Centre showcasing the latest research and projects from across the sector
- Continuing Conversations Lounge near the AFAC stand, a great spot to connect with peers and fellow volunteers from across Australasia
- Complimentary $25 lunch voucher redeemable at the Visitor cafes on the exhibition floor for visitors from AFAC member agencies. Check your eligibility when you register.
