The 2026 State Rural Championships will be held in conjunction with the Urban Senior Championships again in 2026.

Rural Championships Rule Book
A copy of the Rule Book is available at the bottom of this page, under Attachments. The Rule book was updated in November 2025.
The November 2025 amendments include:
- All events at the Senior Championship now have 4 competitors
- Fixing of ladder in events 1 and 3 (for Seniors) in line with the change to all events being 4 competitor events
- Inclusion of rules relating to how the Champion Female Team is calculated

Rural Championships Events
A video is located on YouTube for the current events, there are some slight changes however this gives Brigades a good idea of what is involved in the Rural Championships. The trailers used for the events are a replica of CFA tankers. The video can be accessed here.
