CFA Volunteer Welfare Fund
Progress Report/Update
The working group has already begun drafting the fund rules, procedures and application process which will then be put to VFBV Board for endorsement/approval.
The Fund rules will determine:-
- The composition, appointment and responsibilities of the Welfare Fund Committee of Management
- Process for setting and collecting annual Welfare Fund brigade Subscriptions
- Who is Eligible to apply for a grant & the Application process
- Banking, Investments and Governance arrangements
Both the Application Process and Application Form are both currently being developed (fine tuned) and once finalised will need to be endorsed by the Welfare Fund Committee of Management. Both the process and application form will be available from the fund secretary and also posted on the VFBV web site.
Additionally work is also being progressed in relation to:-
- Amending the VFBV rules to allow the establishment of a welfare fund.
- Tax compliance
- Investment and funding arrangements
- Communication strategy
