Webmail For All – Coming To A Web Browser Near You

Over the last 18 months, CFA and VFBV have been diligently working towards the provisioning of a WebMail system that would provide a CFA sponsored email account for all volunteers.

Following a recent meeting between the VFBV WebMail Reference Group and Senior members of the CFA Technology Services Team, we are pleased to report that a system has been chosen and work is now well underway to have it implemented prior to this year’s Fire Season.

It is a Microsoft “Live” product and will be referred to as Live@CFA. The project will not only provide volunteers with a high-capacity email account, but will also offer significant storage space for the sharing and collaboration of documents, media and photo’s, as well as personal and shared calendaring functions.
