DEPTH of RESOURCES

Significant resources continue to be deployed to combat some fires in difficult country following the horrific conflagration on Saturday 7 February.

CFA’s vast network of brigades and members maintain full coverage and readiness for fire and emergency response across the entire State, despite the huge commitment presently underway.

Examples of excellent work from across the State by volunteers and paid staff have contained other potentially disastrous situations developing, with brigades in the State’s west, central and eastern regions rounding up fires quickly and effectively. Crews from these regions continue to deploy to the central, north east and eastern areas where fires continue to threaten communities.
