February 2009 Fires - Key Message Bulletins

FEM BRIGADES

The fire situation will impact on some FEM brigades and communities serviced by these brigades. Brigades may not be in a position to deliver FEM services or supervise a contractor over the next few weeks or longer.

Some brigades may cease delivering FEM services as a result of the impact of fires on brigade members and customers. Some customers have been significantly impacted by the fires. CFA FEM section is looking at ways to support brigades and customers in fire affected areas and further information should be available next week.

In the meantime if you have any specific issues that warrant input to the discussion at State level please forward these to Allan Monti (0407 334 685).

VFBV have been advised that CFA will support those brigades in need.
