JUNIOR CHAMPIONSHIPS CONFIRMED

VFBV following consultations with CFA management confirm the Junior Urban Championships at Hamilton on February 20 and 21 are to continue as planned. In making this decision, the Championships Committee and VFBV acknowledge the impact of the Black Saturday fires and the lives forever changed by these tragic events.

These Championships represent the best endeavours of our fire service, involves our youth health competition plus it bolsters the local community with an influx of competitors, officials and visitors.

Following year long planning and a huge effort by the host committee, all contingencies have been put in place to proceed with the Championships and Brigades are advised to continue preparations as previously advised.
